On Monday, June 15, crews will begin removing some of the trees along the downstream slope of the dam in front of 210 Carrsbrook Drive. This work is expected to be completed over the next few weeks. Carrsbrook Drive will remain open to traffic during this work, although there may be times when flaggers will be in the roadway to direct construction vehicles entering and exiting the site.
This work is in preparation for the repair of two corrugated metal culverts routed under Carrsbrook Drive that have corroded and are failing.
Culvert replacement is expected to begin in early to mid-July and to be completed prior to the start of the next school year.
Another update will occur prior to the start of this phase of construction.
