September xx- Community family picnic
Sunday afternoon, September xx h, starting as early as 5 pm, at
Shelter #3 in Pen Park. It will be fun to meet new neighbors, visit with everyone and enjoy picnic food! For those of you who signed up, the HOA will provide Brownsville Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw, packaged desserts, and bottled water. Others of you are bringing your own picnic and are welcome to the dessert and drinks. Anyone who wants to can bring a side or dessert to share.
We will have use of the tables under the shelter roof, but you also might want to sit in the grassy areas around the shelter. If so, please bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Also, bring any outdoor games that you might want to share with others.
Thanks to those who volunteered to set up, serve, and clean up. We could not hold the picnic event without you! If you are helping with set-up, please come at 4pm.
Even if you did not sign up for the picnic but now are available this Sunday, come on over to Pen Park, bring your own picnic, and mingle with our neighbors! We will be there rain or shine!
The annual dues are $15 per household.
Please send payment to Deborah Thacker, Treasurer, 100 Powhatan Circle.
Your dues help us purchase plantings for the entrance to Carrsbrook, pay our yearly corporation taxes, mailings, and picnic food etc.
If there are new homeowners on your street, please contact Linda Hitt, your block captain, or one of the officers so that we can welcome them and invite them to join our homeowner’s association.
We are always looking for volunteers to serve on our various committees. Please contact any officer for more information on these committees or to make suggestions for community projects or activities.
